Most popular food items were pizza, chips, sushi, lasagne,apples. Most popular drinks were: raro, milkshakes or smoothies, fizzy drinks, spiders, hot chocolates.
STRENGTHS OF OUR BUSINESS: *We work well as a team. *We will have lots of children and teachers as customers hopefully. *Good contacts like restaurant owners, bankers, family who are awesome cooks, people that work in newspapers. *We are at school already so don't need to hire a place *Back up power in the hall.
WEAKNESSES: *We don't know how to cook. *We are not safe around sharp knives or hot things. We will need more adults/older children *We have no money yet. *We've never run a restaurant before.
OPPORTUNITIES: *We already have a kitchen in the hall. *We are doing kitchen chemistry in our normal classes next term. *Bringing in experts.
THREATS: *Politics between members of our group that could come up (Executives now appointed) *Avonlea Dairy across the road. *Beauvais cafe. *Staveley Street Shops. *Lone Star Cafe

*Hinton's Restaurant visited. Questions related to business answered *Change of name for business discussed. Small survey showed that the name 'Spider cafe' was not attractive to customers, even those who love spiders. *Agreement on the name 'Le Cafe De Celebration' as this cafe will celebrate with parents what we have learned about running a business. *Menu to be sorted next week. *Letter written to Mr Levings re: giving us a business loan of $250.00. *Job descriptions to be given out re employment of staff.
